Bevel Gears

Bevel gears are mainly made to mesh at right angle with required ratios. According to the desired ratios, no of teeth are kept in every meshing gear. If accurately made these gears are noiseless and transmit power at right angle with desired torque. Generally, these gears look like crown in shape. They are fastened in suitable shaft with parallel keys and grub screws. Their location can be adjusted such that the pair of bevel gears mesh perfectly without noise.
